If you believe humanity’s future is in space, you’re already a space advocate. The NSS gives you the tools, community, and national platform to turn that passion into real impact. You don’t need experience – just enthusiasm and a desire to help shape our spacefaring future.
Space exploration doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because people speak up.
For decades, citizen advocates have played a critical role in advancing space exploration, scientific discovery, and policies that support humanity’s future beyond Earth.
The National Space Society (NSS) empowers individuals to become effective advocates for space through education, engagement, and action. Your voice becomes part of a national movement.
The National Space Society is also a founding member of the Alliance for Space Development (ASD), a nonpartisan coalition of organizations working together to advance policies that support space exploration, development, and settlement. Together, we amplify the voice of the space community and advocate for a thriving future beyond Earth.

Decisions made today will influence the future of space exploration for generations. From NASA funding and commercial space policy to lunar exploration, planetary defense, STEM education, and space settlement, informed citizens can help ensure that space remains a national priority.

Whether you're new to advocacy or an experienced advocate, NSS provides the tools, information, and community to help you make a difference.
There are many ways to get involved and create real change.

This experience opens doors for you as you gain valuable advocacy experience while networking with other space advocates. Be part of a community of people who care about space as much as you do.
